Dear Customer,
India’s domain authority NIXI (National Internet Exchange of India) has introduced mandatory new requirements for all .IN, third-level .IN, and .BHARAT domain names. These apply to registrations, renewals, transfers, and contact updates.
WHAT’S NEW
Indian registrants only
Only individuals or entities with India as the country can register/transfer domains.
No temporary emails
Disposable email addresses are no longer accepted for contact details.
VPN must be off
Your actual IP must be used. VPNs or masked IPs will cause the process to fail.
eKYC verification
Email and identity verification are now mandatory within 15 days of operation.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

Turn off your VPN before registering or updating. Attempts over a VPN will be blocked. |

Use a permanent email address. Services like Mailinator, TempMail, or any disposable @ domains are prohibited. |

Complete eKYC immediately. Look for a verification link after any domain update and complete it within 15 days. |

Set country to India. Ensure your profile reflects the correct residency to avoid rejection. |
What happens if verification is not completed?
Domains will be suspended by NIXI until the process is finished. This will result in your website and email going offline.
